 Dear Parents,

I hope that your new year is off to a wonderful start.

We appreciate the confidence that you have placed in Ben Porat Yosef by selecting us to partner with you in your children's education, emotional growth, and social development.  We are committed to giving your children an outstanding educational foundation in an environment of Torah, mitzvot, and ahavat Yisrael.  Our methods of instruction in both Judaic and general studies are differentiated and child-centered, and we strive to help our students become the best they can be - motivated learners with the confidence to question, explore, and meet all academic challenges.

A NEW ONLINE RE-REGISTRATION PROCESS

This year our re-registration process is completely onlineYou will no longer have to fill out multiple forms with information that you already provided in years past.  Instead, student profile information has been pre-loaded and you can simply edit online as necessary, and submit!  In about a week you will receive an email from TADS, our online enrollment service, that will explain how to begin the re-registration process.  A 'helpline' will be available should you require any assistance.

Re-registration fees can now be submitted conveniently either by credit card (with a fee to the vendor), or by electronic withdrawal.  Instructions will be on the electronic form.  If you have any questions about this please feel free to consult with Freda Bak in the business office at fredab@benporatyosef.org or x12.

Please submit your online re-registration no later than November 21st, 2013.  Your children's re-registration secures their spot in the school and is an indication of the number of spots available for children from new families.  As always, new sibling applications will receive priority if received by this date as well.  B"H, based on the inquiries we have received to date we are expecting many applications.  Please help us by meeting these deadlines, as we have a limited number of openings in some grades, and will not be able to keep a place open for a returning student or sibling without a completed registration.

Please know that we remain steadfast in our commitment to fiscal responsibility and continue to manage our expenses carefully while actively seeking to generate incremental non-tuition revenue to support our program.  As always, we are sensitive to the needs of our families, which figure heavily as we manage our budget.  In order to budget and plan responsibly for next year, tuition rates for 2014-15/5775 will be finalized and shared in the spring, as per our longstanding practice, when we are able to project our revenues and expenses with the greatest degree of accuracy.

We thank you for your continued trust in Ben Porat Yosef and look forward to continuing our partnership, working together to facilitate your children's growth and learning.

Sincerely,

Rav Tomer Ronen

We are excited about our new innovatedTeffilah curriculum that will be launching this coming Friday that aims to strengthen the students connection to Hashem.  This curriculum will include both grade-specific components as well as mutual learning where all students in the elementary and junior high will work together on a certain prayer each week.

The launch will include a video created by our bnot sherut, Atara & Odeya, a school wide celebration with songs and more.
