Reminder: Coffee with the Administration for

Grades 2-5: Tonight

Coffee with the Administration for Parents of Grades 2 -5 is tonight at 8:00 pm. Even if you did not RSVP, feel free to come!

Reminder: PTC Website closes TONIGHT

at 11:59 pm

If you have not yet booked your times for parent teacher conferences, the website closes TONIGHT at 11:59 pm.

Conferences for grades T-5th grade are for the parents only. Please do not bring your child/ren with you to these meetings. However, conferences for the Junior High will be held with parents and students together.

The scheduling of time slots is done through an on-line system, PTCWizard, that can be accessed by clicking here.

Online registration for Parent Teacher Conferences is now open. Registration for conferences will close on Wednesday, November 13th at 11:59 pm.

Please sign-up as early as possible so you can get your first choice of times.

A few helpful notes:

*Please register on the right hand side in order to access the conference booking. Parents that used the system previously do not need to re-register. However, if you forgot your username and password you can re-register.

*Once logged in, please select all the teachers and groups you would like to see at conferences. The site will then open each class one by one to book your conference times.

*Once completed the screen will show a summary of your conferences and it will be emailed to you.

If you need to change or cancel an appointment please log back onto the site. Once in, click on "My Schedule" (a tab on the left hand side) where you can select which conference you would like to cancel.

Please notify your child's teacher if you cannot attend an appointment on the above date so that they can make alternate arrangements for you.

Message from Camp Kef

Dear Parents,

The leaves are falling on the ground and it's getting cold outside - but in the Camp Kef office it's heating up as we plan for an unbelievable Summer 2014 with new activities, exciting trips and funtastic themes. We are also pleased to offer longer hours this summer - and if you sign up by January 15th we're throwing in free pizza for the summer!

We are also sad to share that Sarit Perry, our founding camp director, is moving on. We are thankful to Sarit for growing Camp Kef to what it is today - her warmth, fun and dedication to excellent staff and programming will be a wonderful platform for our new director to work off of. We are in the midst of identifying our next camp director; Sarit is aiding in the search process and will be on hand to transition the new director in time for summer - rest assured everything you know and love about Camp Kef will be back for Summer '14. Please stay tuned for follow up details in January.

Early Childhood Bagel Brunch - Thank You

BPY early childhood students and their grandparents or special guests enjoyed a wonderful Early Childhood Bagel Brunch on Sunday!

The children and their guests enjoyed delicious bagels and treats and then got moving together with an energizing Israeli folk dance program with "Dancing Danny" Pollock, a professional dance instructor from the 92nd Street Y.

Thank you to all of the volunteers who worked on this event and to all of the event sponsors for their generous support!

Elementary (Grades 1-4) Program from 9:00 am-10:30 am

Early Childhood (Toddler, Nursery, Pre-K, and Kindergarten) Program from 10:30 am-12:00 pm

(BPY students in grades 5-8 will be hosting their grandparents and special guests for a new evening program on Wednesday, May 28.)
