Save the Date: Scholastic Book Fair Week We are excited to announce the first ever BPY Scholastic Book Fair the week of May 11th. Our goal is to build up the school library, and 100% of the proceeds will go to this cause. Volunteers will be key to making this a success. Your help will enable us to keep the fair open for as many hours as possible. If you are free, for even an hour, please help out. To volunteer, e-mail pto@benporatyosef.org, with your availability that week (school day and evenings). Precise book fair hours will be set, once the fair is staffed. Looking forward to growing the library and stocking up the kids with summer reading! |
You are Invited to BPY's Campaign Ambassador Solicitation Training - Part II All are invited - including BPY parents, grandparents and staff members! Earlier this year, 20 representatives from BPY participated in a wonderful and informative CampaignAmbassador Training session with other area schools. We have scheduled a follow up session at BPY that will take place on Wednesday, May 7 from 7:30 pm-10:00 pm in the BPY library. This training will focus on solicitation for both the annual and capital campaigns. Attendance at this session is a great opportunity to get involved and learn more about fundraising and the role it plays at BPY. All who are interested in helping BPY maintain its excellence and special sense of community are invited and encouraged to attend (attendance at the session earlier this year is NOT a prerequisite for this one). A light dinner will also be served. |
